The Children's Heart Foundation (the Foundation) will hold the '2025 Heart-to-Heart Charity Walk' (the Charity Walk) at the Peak Galleria on Sunday, 23 November 2025.
First held in 2000, the Charity Walk is the Foundation's annual fundraising event. It aims to raise public awareness of congenital heart disease, promote a sports-based healthy lifestyle, and raise funds to support the Foundation's various services. This year's walk, themed 'Journey of the Heart', will use the Peak walking trail to represent the heart children's life journey, from the rugged challenges of the newborn stage (the initial narrow paths), the vibrant exploration of choices in the teenage years (forking paths), to the stable stride towards a bright future in adulthood (the Victoria Harbour view). It symbolises the story of how children with congenital heart disease, supported by the Foundation and the community, overcome obstacles and grow strong.
The Foundation is a registered charity dedicated to serving children with congenital heart disease and their families. It relies solely on external donations for its operations. The Foundation's services include providing assistance for surgical instruments and purchasing medical equipment, arranging visits by overseas doctors for medical exchanges, organising educational and developmental activities for hospitalised children and members, and offering emotional therapy and psychological counselling support for the children and their families.
